ADVERTISEMENT The Area's Top Political Talk Show! Volpe Report SUNDAY MORNINGS 10:30 AM f FOX56 U.S. SENATE CANDIDATE, CONOR LAMB, DEMOCRATS BEST HOPE? In 2018, Democrat Conor Lamb won in a special election for a U.S. House seat in the 17th District, and won reelection in 2020, despite Trump carrying the District by a large margin. A marine and former Asst. U.S. Attorney in the Western District of PA, Congressman Lamb is looking to move to the Senate, but he will have to outpoll a large field of Democrats for the nomination, including co-frontrunner Lt. Gov. John Fetterman. Representative Lamb is the guest on The Volpe Report Sunday at 10:30 am on FOX56. Whomever the Democratic nominee is, they apparently will have an uphill battle for votes in Pennsylvania's hinterlands. The NBC affiliate in Philadelphia, Channel 10, recently ran a piece about political unrest in rural Pennsylvania, going so far as to say the Democrat brand is "toxic" there. According to the piece, "Democrats and liberals in rural counties across Pennsylvania are shedding Biden bumper stickers and are afraid to talk politics in coffee shops." Channel 10 reported high inflation and gas prices are fueling the toxicity in suburbia. On Tuesday, between 10 and 10:30 pm tune in for Volpe's Views as Chuck comments on Progressive Democrats' impulsive urge to produce a more Orwellian and obedient society. This View was incorrectly advertised for this past Tuesday, but will run this coming Tuesday. Conor Lamb ADVERTISEMENT The Area's Top Political Talk Show!
