SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE THE ROY W. PIPER CHARITABLE TRUST, Tunkhannock announces the availability of annually renewable scholarships in two categories beginning academic year 2021-2022. 1. Four year Academic 2. Two year or less Career Technology for accredited certificate, associate degree, or instruction toward license. (eg: cosmetology, automotive, health sciences, skilled trades, computer sciences, CDL license, welding, culinary, etc.) Applications will be accepted from graduating high school seniors or those students already attending an accredited post-secondary institution. Principle preference will be given to Wyoming, Lackawanna, and Luzerne County students. Scholarships are awarded based upon a combination of financial need, academic merit and community service/extracurricular activities, and are for education at an accredited post- secondary education institution. Application packages can be obtained from the student's high school guidance department, within the above counties or by email request to piperscholarship@frontier.com. (Denote Application Request" in subject line and note type of scholarship). All forms from the trust will be emailed. All completed applications must be received by the Trust by March 1st, 2021.
