FREE CERTIFICATE PROGRAM Eight weeks of in-person and remote instruction focusing on the principles and practice of sustainability! Program begins April 6 Courses online and at our Environmental Education Center Earn three Lackawanna College credits in this FREE 200- hour program as you develop core manufacturing skills while learning about sustainable practices. Employment opportunities exist after graduation in areas including environmental stewardship, maintenance, manufacturing, production, quality assurance, and safety compliance. This Project is financed in part by a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Community and Economic Development and by Gov. Tom Wolf's Manufacturing PA Initiative to help build higher paying careers in the manufacturing industry, with additional support from NEPIRC, the Workforce Development Board of Lackawanna County and the Northern Tier Regional Planning and Development Commission.
