About

The Gratz Bank has been serving customers in Dauphin, Schuylkill and Northumberland Counties of Pennsylvania since 1934. In 1986, the Bank formed a holding company, GNB Financial Services, Inc., to provide for additional security and growth potential for GNB shareholders. The first satellite office of the Bank was constructed in the neighboring community of Valley View, Pennsylvania in 1996. And in 2011, Gratz Bank purchased the Herndon National Bank and built a modern banking facility to serve Herndon and the surrounding communities. The original location of the Herndon National Bank, within the Borough of Herndon, PA, was donated to the community. In 2014, Gratz Bank consummated its acquisition of Liberty Savings Bank in Pottsville, PA, further extending its market in Schuylkill County. This merger added the Yorkville Office on West Market Street in Pottsville to Gratz Bank’s branch network.
