The Human Resources Foundation was created to provide meaning and purpose to families and individuals with mental, emotional and physical challenges. The Human Resources Center, Inc. is a not for profit corporation building bridges in the community since October, 1973.

The agency's vision is to build a community that embraces individual uniqueness and promotes community acceptance, strength and equality for future generations. Providing services throughout the Northeast Corridor of Pennsylvania with three convenient locations, in Honesdale, Hawley/LordsValley and Effort.
