PUBLIC NOTICE CITY OF HAZLETON Emergency Solutions Grant Programa de Subvenciones para Soluciones de Emergencia Notice is hereby given by that the City of Hazleton will hold a virtual public hearing on June 7, 2022 at 1:00 PM. Eligible activities under this program include: Rapid Re-Housing Street Outreach Homeless Prevention Emergency Shelter HMIS The City intends to apply for a grant to continue the Day Shelter program at Divine Providence Shelter administered by the Willow Foundation also known as New Roots Addiction Recovery Center. Additional information on the program is available for public inspection at the Community Development at the above address. All interested parties are invited to attend the public hearing and give oral testimony at the Public hearing or present written comments concerning the needs of the homeless or those at risk of homelessness. Comments may be submitted to the Director of Community Development 40 N. Church St., Hazleton, PA 18201 or izeller@cityofhazleton.org. Council will consider the application at the meeting of June 7, 2022. Comments received by 4 pm on June 7 will be considered.
